Your Wedding is easily one of the most important days of your life. We agree that choosing a photographer who fits into your plans is essential.
We have a process carefully designed to make sure that you get what you want from beginning to end.
The process set out below is for those people who are within the Bolton and North West area. If you are further afield we would still love to cover your wedding, just contact us and we can agree how we can best serve you. We look forward to hearing from you!
Initial Contact
You can "contact us" via telephone or E-Mail and we would be pleased to discuss our availability and arrange to meet with you either at our studio or in your own home.
First Meeting
We will always meet and discuss your wedding with you, what you are planning for the day and what you want from your photographer and how we can help you.
We will show you some of our work and discuss some of the services we can offer. There is never any pressure or obligation, just an opportunity to discuss your thoughts and ideas and how we can fit in with them.
At the end of the meeting we hope we will leave you believing that we are the right choice and with some options to choose from.
All that is asked is at the time of booking a deposit of £250 is paid. This is non-refundable, and is used as a security to guarantee that we are yours for the day!
Pre-Wedding Photographs
Any wedding coverage comes with a complementary engagement photo session. This session is a great opportunity for us to informally get to know each other and take some beautiful images of you as a couple. It gives you a good idea of how we will be able to provide you with the great images you expect on your big day. You will be given a complementary 8x6 image from that photo shoot and can upgrade to have extra pictures for yourself or your family.
Planning
About three weeks before the big day we will meet you again to run through the details of the day and make sure we understand everything we need to know about the wedding. This includes:
Confirmation of timings for the big day
Any special requests for photographs.
Who is who of your family and friends.
Wedding Day
We will do everything that is possible to make sure that we capture any specific photographs you have requested. Whatever happens we will ensure that you have a wonderful selection of photographs to choose from. Duncan is a very friendly photographer, fully understands how important this day is for you and will record it in a truly memorable way.
Apart from any requested/group shots it is likely that you will be very much unaware of any other pictures being taken. Our approach is such that we do not order people around. We stay very much in the background to capture some wonderful documentary style images that show the true atmosphere of the day.
Viewing your photographs
Usually, within approximately three weeks of your wedding your photographs will be ready for you to view. We will arrange for a date to come to you and show you the images as a slideshow presentation.
After you have viewed them they will be loaded onto the web site in a private client area gallery for you, your friends and family to view. If your friends and family would like some prints of their own they are able to send us their order and use our online payment function, The pictures will then be sent direct to them so you do not need to worry about coordinating orders and collecting payment.
Creating your album
Once you have chosen the pictures you would like to make up your album, you can simply email your selection to us and we will create an electronic version of your album for you.
Many photographers just take your selection and give you the completed album. We believe that this is your album, and you should be able to review and approve it so that we make sure it is set out exactly as you want before it is finalised.
When you are happy with the design we will complete the production of the album and it will be ready for you to collect in approximately four weeks.
The album is a 'Photobook' style album with hard front and back covers printed on heavyweight professional paper, the cover options vary between solid colours with different texture effects, or for a small additional cost, a favourite image from the album can be used as a cover choice.
Alternatively for an additional cost you may wish to opt for a more luxurious album from the well known Italian 'Graphi' range.
COSTS
The normal cost for this service is just £695. (Graphi albums extra)
This includes photography for the whole day from the Brides preparation shots through to the formal speeches during the wedding breakfast (usually 10 hours of attendance).
